How come there are two food expressions that mean to admit your own error? And which would you prefer to eat: humble pie or crow?
Humble pie, but only if it’s ensconced in chocolate. Crow, only if it has nothing to do with the Australian actor Russell.
“To eat black crowe” means to “acknowledge one’s own debt to The Rolling Stones.”
