After a long weekend of indulging in (mostly sweet) delights at the amazing hippified nuptial celebration of our friends Alli and Erich in Massachusetts, I figured I’d check in with ya’ll, Sh*t L*st-style, to see what you’ve been eating this weekend. You know, you are what you eat, so let’s see what kind of person you are. If food be the music of love, grub on!

I’ll get ‘er started, then…
(In no particular order)
1) Delicious chocolatey wedding cake (although not the one pictured, the one we had sported white icing)
2) Gummi pumpkins (seasonal…gummi things always excite me)
3) Cracker Barrel breakfast (the menu says that our gravy for the biscuits came from a sawmill, but I was pretty sure it’s contents came from a pig)
4) Awesome wedding food.. steak, salmon, and peanut chicken
5) Assorted cocktail hour munchies (crab boat thingees, spinach stuffed mushrooms, crackers and bleu cheese, vegeetables and hummus, tomatoes with basil and mozz atop)
How ’bout yers?

1) Way too much fast food (Wendy’s, McDonald’s, Burger King, Chick Fil*a…). I don’t ever wanna eat it again. Ever.
2. A filet mignon with mashed potatoes and green beans. From McDonald’s. (Not really.)
3. Sundry wedding hors d’oeuvres (chicken cutlet, steak sandwich, cheese, crackers, et al).
4. Lots of roadside snacks, e.g., M&Ms, potato chips, sodas, etc.
5. One home-made ham sandwich.

This weekend I ate lots of really unhealthy, tasty food.
1. Friday night – Street meat. Not for everyone, I understand. But sometimes you just want a styrofoam filled with chicken and lamb and rice.
2. Saturday night – Watching The Ohio State Game. 20 Bar-b-q chicken wings and some waffle fries with chili sauce. and two pitchers of Blue Moon beer.
3. Sunday morning – Corner Deli. Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Sandwich. So unhealthy, but SO good. I still can’t believe how many years I wasted keeping Kosher…
4. Sunday night – House of Blues restaurant at Showboat Casino, Atlantic City. A HUGE plate of Jambalaya. DAMN Good. Probably the culinary highlight of the weekend.
5. Sunday LATE night – Roadside Gas Station, somewhere in NJ. A large cup of Pumpkin Cappuccino. Amazing. Some of the best coffee I’ve ever had. Definitely the best roadside gas station coffee ever.

Here’s my real list:
1.) Friday: Half of a frozen cheese pizza and a Foster’s oil can (yes, one of the cans left over from the TN trip!)
2.) Saturday: The other half of that pizza and fresh brussel sprouts. (I eat like the bachelor I am)
3.) Sunday: All kinds of tasty stuff at my friend Alison’s backyard party- homemade salsa, spinach & feta pastry puffs, artichoke dip, etc.
4.) Sunday: A fried egg and cheese on a whole wheat english muffin.
5.) Munchday: Chicken pox pie.
