Hey there, welcome to the new NewmRadio and to the inaugural blog post! I’ve switched locations once and for all to something that is better than any of NewmRadio’s previous incarnations, and something that is free. I couldn’t warrant paying $100 to renew my ‘dot mac’ account when the only thing I was using was the little bit of storage to publish via iWeb. Not to mention, iWeb is lacking in some features and is in dire need of an update. Let me know what you think of the new look and content and if you have any good ideas for stuff. And with that, let the inaugural Blog Jammin’ begin!

• First of all, does everyone know what Blog Jammin’ references?

• Be sure to go see Franny and Josh’s play, Orange, directed by the lovely Jeff Griffin, before it closes on August 12th. I saw a final dress/preview on Friday night and it was great and has a really amazing group of actors…many of whom I had the pleasure to meet and hang with at McManus afterward. Go check it out… you’ll definitely dig.

• The history of the world, it seems. Thank you, Lenny Bruce! You gotta see this video.

• The new Wes Anderson joint, Darjeeling Limited, looks very cool. I don’t care if everyone’s tired of him.

• Fuckin’ killer looking Heavy Metal box set to be released by Rhino on October 2nd. I’m telling you, Rhino packages some great stuff!
