After not having created a podcast music mix in a long time, I got the hankering to do so this week. I had all these perfect songs in my head and as I put it together, noticed that they all fit together quite well. I hope you’ll all take 45 minutes some time soon and give this one a good crank…I think you’ll definitely dig it!
Let me know what you think and if you have any thoughts or questions on any of the songs. The track list is below, and if you use iTunes you’ll find the track listing also in the picture window in iTunes:

Ah, bow wow wow! i used to have the t-shirt of the single, if you know what i mean. Annabella lwin was a bit mental. my ex-wife used to have to babysit her on tour back in the day, she nearly lost her in bradford when she disappeared for a curry!

this selection also reminds me of other moments from my cobwebbed past…like watching the late gary holton of the heavy metal kids strutting around the stage at derby kings hall like ronnie Woods bastard son, and the wonderful single by aphrodite’s child called “break” – even the “revelation” (excuse the 666 pun) that the portly kaftan wearing and undeniably bearded Demis Roussos was a member of this band didn’t dim my appreciation of this classic!

I have had that Aphrodite’s Child song stuck in my head for days (odd, to say the least). As a Yes fan, I feel that I should have known about them before. Off to find a copy of 666 somewhere…. Thanks for the music!

Marian, totally! Especially since Vangelis was in Aphrodite’s Child. 666 was his brainchild. A completely fantastic, solid album.
