…and I’ll be a second mike to second that emotion. Any other election feels like ‘yeah, vote for whoever you want to, just be sure to make your voice be heard’. While this election is more like ‘vote for obama or you’re a fucking asshole’. Long story short, it’s not just a regular old election this year…it’s a major turning point in US and world history, for that matter. Don’t be an asshole!

Luckily, it looks like the Repubs are self-destructing before our eyes with this Palin pick. Even the comedians at Fox news can’t prop her up with a straight face. For the first time in a while, I’m starting to feel a little optimistic.

He’s got our vote down here! McCain/Palin is a freak show – watched a bit of her speech last night – it was a freaky, freaky scene. What was with the passing around of Trig? And, why is he always asleep??? And, why was the little sister licking her hand and slicking down his hair? Ick.

Speaking of the robot – my 9 year old son just did it at a Labor Day pool party – he went to the DJ and requested “Mr. Roboto” – he was doing his thing all by his lonesome on the side of the pool. It was really something!

thanks for this post, mike. i started today sending emails to my friends who live in swing states reminding them to vote (for obama) and to send messages to their local friends and family to remember to vote as well. we cannot afford to lose this one!
