…or at least the boys in her high school did.  I guess that’s better than Blowfish!  And Blowfish music is much worse!

This just in from Classic Rock magazine…

Nancy Wilson ‘utters expletive’ horror

They say hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. But when TWO women are involved, then you’re really asking for trouble.

Ann and Nancy Wilson are thoroughly cheesed off that the people in charge of the music at the Republican National Convention in the US have decided to turn Heart’s 1977 song Barracuda into a rallying cry for vice-presidential nominee Sarah Palin, who was apparently called Barracuda during her high-school days.

“I think it’s completely unfair to be so misrepresented,” Nancy told EntertainmentWeekly.com. “I feel completely fucked over.”

Nancy and Ann then released the following statement:

“Sarah Palin’s views and values in NO WAY represent us as American women. We ask that our song Barracuda no longer be used to promote her image.

‘The song Barracuda was written in the late 70s as a scathing rant against the soulless, corporate nature of the music business, particularly for women. (The ‘barracuda’ represented the business.)

‘While Heart did not and would not authorise the use of their song at the RNC, there’s irony in Republican strategists’ choice to make use of it there.’

That’s set that scary ‘pitbull in lipstick’ woman straight, and no mistake.

Go get her, Wilson sisters! And Republican Party, please stop trying to act like you could possibly rock in any way.  That takes soul…and you’ve all given yours up when you joined the Dark Side.
