Psych Pspaghetti-Western rockers, Spindrift, will be joining me on Thursday’s Beyond Beyond is Beyond show! Their new Legend of God’s Gun soundtrack album is fukkin’ fantastic and they’ll be playing at Union Pool Wednesday, the 26th and at the Cake Shop Thursday, the 27th. They’ll be with me live in the second hour of Thursday’s show, noon to 2pm ET…
…and in the first hour, I will have my sometime DJ partner-in-crime, Chippy B, in the studio to do a nice live mix of psych rock sounds and ‘verbed out dub. Feel free to spark a doob…it’s after noon!

I’m back from my intergalactic travels to a planet called Maine…and oh, what a time it was! Filled with blueberries, shellfish and unbridled love. The lovely and talented Margaret the Prog Lady from EVR’s own No Pussyfooting show will be manning my usual noon to 2:00 decks this Thursday, August 6th. I will be away with Ranyart and QoQuaq on the Moorglade Mover. Margaret will be spinning a nice blend of the things you find on both of our shows. And her voice is much nicer to listen to than mine!
Margaret will also be talking to Pete Bernhard, frontman for the ‘neo-Americana’ band, The Devil Makes Three. And Pete will also perform some of his solo stuff live in the studio which will make you wanna slap your knee and drink new moonshine from a dissed still life. His solo album is out on Milan Records on September 15th and he has two NYC shows this week…
